I did not like my distortion sound on my Spider III before because it sounded very dull. With this it sounds amazing. Nice low end with clean highs. Top Boost is neat but not necessary. This is for metal and upwards. Even with Distortion at 0 the sound is still too distorted for a crunchy sound (in my opinion). Otherwise, best distortion pedal out there!
Amp:
LINE6 SPIDER III 15W
Decent practice/bedroom amp. Can get loud but the quality suffers. Not very clear with loud clean sound. I disliked the Distortion on it (read above). Very good for the price though, I would have gotten more power though with more money.
Recording Equip:
LINE6 STUDIO GX
Beautiful GUI and the quality of the sound is good as well. Everything works fine on my Vista 64-bit. Can even take the Line6 POD sounds and import them (.l6t files). Takes some time to get the right sound but the possibilities are endless!

I Liked the sound you had on your front page video…but for all you needs for recording at least for a lower level basis such as internet and such. get the full (Or Cracked versions) of the following programs. Revalver MKIII regular or .V for your tones and everything. get some RedWire impulses for pristine sound. and if you really want to get a tube amp sound find a download for TSE X30 (I use the definately Sylvania version) and as for recording, use Cubase or REAPER. If You Need any of these or want more info just reply with a comment on here or shoot me an email or add me on msn. I can provide links/downloads/cracks for all and more if needed. and of course more info.

Thanks a lot for the feedback. Matter fact I downloaded Revalver yesterday and I really liked it! I am going to check out the other softwares as well but please, no talk about cracks etc here.
